Carbon Neutral Shipments
One of the large commitments of Plaine Products is tackling greenhouse gas emissions. This is because as the number of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere continues to increase, it traps more heat in the atmosphere, contributing to global warming and climate change.
Carbon dioxide is one of the most abundant greenhouse gases, accounting for 79% of all greenhouse gases in 2020 (source).

Reduced Plastic
Our world is dominated by plastic. According to research, nearly two-thirds of plastic waste comes from plastics with lifetimes of under five years, with 40% coming from packaging.
Instead of traditional plastic packaging, Plaine Products uses aluminum bottles to hold their products. Not only is aluminum incredibly durable, but it also has a much better recycling rate than plastics. On average only 9% of plastic is recycled. Bottles are Recyclable and Refillable
I love the fact that these are low waste curly hair products! Due to the fact that aluminum can be used over and over again with little loss of quality, it is perfect for reusing! When ordering, Plaine Products offers the option to have a return label shipped with your products. Once your bottles start to run low, order a refill bottle. When it’s time for the refill, take the pump from the old bottle, put in the new bottle, rinse out the old bottle, and ship it back for free!
Once received, Plaine Products further cleans the bottles, refills them, and reuses them! To help further increase the percentage of bottles that are reused, Plaine Products has recently given their bottles a new look. This new design will help extend the life of the bottles. Bottles that are dented or damaged are recycled instead of reused. Boxes that the bottles are shipped in are also reused and recycled if they’re damaged!

Used on my entire family
As a mom of two busy toddlers, sometimes bath and bedtime is chaotic! There are some nights when having as few products as possible to get the job done is exactly what I need! I can use this product from head to toe with my littles, and myself!
All-in-One
Currently, everyone in my home is sharing one bathroom. If we’re not mindful, hair and shower products can accumulate quickly! Plaine Products Deep Conditioner Review
Here’s why I love it:
- It’s hydrating for my thick curls
- The consistency is thick, but not heavy
- Makes my hair feel incredibly soft and moisturized
Hydrating for my thick curls
Remember I mentioned I have dry, coarse hair? This deep conditioner hydrates my curls back to life! After letting the conditioner sit on my hair for 30 minutes with a reused plastic grocery bag, my curls are bouncy and springy again.
Consistency
Since my hair is thick, I like thick conditioners. Sometimes, however, thick conditioners feel heavy. That is not the case with Plaine Products’ deep conditioners. My curls drink in this conditioner, making it one of my favorite eco friendly hair products.
Soft and moisturized hair
After rinsing out the conditioner my hair is soft and has a bit of a shine. It rejuvenates the dull and dry state my hair is frequently in as I’m entering my wash day. To retain the moisture after rinsing out the deep conditioner I typically use an old t-shirt for drying instead of a towel.
