About Me

Welcome to Teach Go Green

Hi, I’m Lacie! I’m a certified teacher turned homeschool mom, currently digging up potatoes, drinking too much coffee, and pretending I meant to plant that many pumpkin seeds.

I taught everything from Pre-K nature journaling to high school environmental science before deciding to do the messier, more caffeinated version of that at home. Turns out “learning” looks a lot like: tracing letters, a baking soda volcano for the fourth time, a 10-minute walk that turns into a 40-minute conversation about bird feathers, and a whole lot of “let’s just get through today.”

Here’s what you’ll find here:

  • nature-based learning that doesn’t require a farm (we live in the suburbs)
  • sustainable swaps that survive actual kids
  • homeschool days that are more “good enough” than Pinterest-perfect
  • science that’s hands-on, because I still love teaching it
  • the honest, sometimes chaotic, very caffeinated version of all of it

If that sounds like your people, grab a free guide below and stick around. I’m so glad you’re here!
