Hey! I’m Lacie

I’m a certified middle school science teacher now homeschool mom.

Currently digging in the garden, drinking too much coffee, comparing homeschool curriculums, and trying to remember my reusable bags more days than not.

I taught everything from Pre-K nature journaling to high school environmental science before deciding to do the messier, more caffeinated version of that at home. Turns out “learning” looks a lot like: tracing letters, a baking soda volcano for the fourth time, a 10-minute walk that turns into a 40-minute conversation about bird feathers, and a whole lot of “let’s just get through today.
