If you’re a teacher or staff member looking for science Valentines Day cards for your students, you’re going to love these adorable Valentines Day tags to incorporate in your classroom.

Even as an adult, I still have vague happy memories of Valentine’s Day as a child. My parents would always get us a box of our favorite chocolate and at school we would make boxes to collect our Valentine’s Day cards from other kids.

As an adult, the meaning of Valentine’s Day seems to shift a bit, but being able to still gift students a small token of appreciation is thoughtful and doesn’t have to be complicated.

I’ve created 10 science Valentines Day cards that are perfect for the kids in elementary school through high school!

This post is all about science Valentines Day Cards from teachers

1. HAP-BEE Valentine’s Day!

Bees are incredibly important to our environment because they are pollinators. Pollinators help to transfer pollen from the male anther of a flower to the female stigma. This Valentines Day science card is a great reminder of the importance of pollination. Due to the fact that bees help to populate about 1/3 of the world’s crops, it would have a noticeable impact on our food supply chain.

Some of the main reasons for the decline in bee populations is habitat loss, pollution, use of pesticides, and parasites – among others.

Here are some ways to help:

  • plant a bee-friendly garden
  • buy locally sourced honey
  • buy organic, when possible

2. I hope this LIGHTS up your day!

Light is good for us! Not only for the plants but for us humans. Although we have developed a dependence on artificial light, there are several benefits to natural light. Sunlight provides Vitamin D, helps us focus, and makes us happier! These science Valentine’s Day cards are a great way to light up your students’ day with a small light-up prize. You can easily find light-up toys from Five Below, Amazon, Walmart, and sometimes Target.

3. Wishing you an EXPLOSIVE Valentine’s Day!

Volcanoes are essential to our planet! A volcano is an opening in a planet or moon’s crust through which molten rock and gases trapped under the surface erupt, often forming a hill or mountain (National Geographic). Some eruptions have slow lava flow while some are more abrupt. Share the Valentine’s Day love with the students in your class with this explosive science Valentine’s Day card.
