Unbelievably Good Earth Day Preschool Activities For Your Preschool Curriculum

Let’s teach our tiny humans how to be stewards of our planet with these Earth Day preschool activities. As we approach, Earth Day, we want to make sure we are instilling a love for nature and sustainability in our our students. Even though Earth Day is every day, April 22 is the time the Earth shines! In this post, I’ve included several Earth Day preschool activities I’ve used. They’re from both my Teachers Pay Teachers site and my Etsy shop.

This activity promotes Earth-friendly actions in a playful and engaging way. Use these preschool activities to discuss actions that make the Earth happy and actions that make the Earth sad. Using educational gameplay is a great way to incorporate positive eco-conscious practices into your Earth Day preschool activities!


Tracing Activities

Check out these math-related Earth Day preschool activities! If you’re looking for a fun way to celebrate Earth Day with numbers, you’ll love these count, color, and trace worksheets! Using numbers 0-20, students can practice counting sets of objects and tracing the numbers. Next, the students can color the pictures! These basic math sheets are perfect for Pre-K to 1st grade. These are easy to print and go! The final page is an Earth Day pledge for your students!


Coloring Pages

If you want to step it up a notch and be an eco friendly rockstar, try tea towels for hands and Swedish dish towels for spills/dishes. Just wash and reuse.
